6 Pack of News vol. 2

First up this time: a couple of smaller, local breweries in New Jersey have jumped on the canning train.  Jersey Girl Brewing’s first offering is their Rake Breaker; a hazy, tropical, New England style IPA.  http://www.jerseygirlbrewing.com/beers.html                                                      While Manskirt Brewing has gone the darker route and canned their Great Porter.   http://manskirtbrewing.com/

I’m a fan of Ballast Point; their Habanero Sculpin is one of my all time favorite beers.  That said, I’m pretty pumped up about their newest beer: Nitro Red Velvet. The color of this thing looks crazy and I’m looking forward to trying it. https://www.ballastpoint.com/beer/red-velvet/

You have to respect the Germans’ love of beer.  As more and more breweries host a yoga class followed by a beer afterwards, German steps the beer yoga game up by making the bottle of beer part of the routine.  How do you say Namaste in German?  http://bieryoga.de/english/

Heineken is buying Kirin’s Brazilian beer operations for around 100 billion yen.  Kirin had Brazilian beer operations?!  http://www.cnbc.com/2017/01/19/heineken-will-pay-around-100-billion-yen-for-kirins-brazilian-beer-operations-nikkei.html

Ah, human ingenuity….can we brew beer on the moon?  The title of the article is a bit misleading as the majority of the “brewing” will be done on plain boring Earth, but an interesting read nonetheless.  https://www.universityofcalifornia.edu/news/can-you-brew-beer-moon

And finally, an awesome product out of Sweden.  The article is funny in that it tries to explain and justify the need for a “shower beer” beyond: alcholism.  http://www.upi.com/Odd_News/2017/01/17/Swedish-brewerys-Shower-Beer-designed-for-shower-drinking-and-conditioning/2311484690772/
